Welcome to our Birman website dedicated to our cats.
 We are Based in Croydon, Surrey and are breeding Birmans so more people can have the chance to experience the fascinating and unique Birman cat!

We aim to breed pure birmans in a loving environment where they are part of the family and are given the oppourtunity to develop their full character.

So Why Huff-N-Flop?
The main reason for this is because our first Birman, Buster began doing these strange traits. he would flop when we went to pick him up, or when one of the other cats came near him. we named it the "Buster flop". A few months after this he began to do this strange noise when we would do things to upset him such as using the hoover or not feeding him quickly enough! we then researched into it and discovered:

 "Birmans have unusual vocalization when they are annoyed, We affectionately refer to this as the Birman huff -it is no big deal simply the Birman vocal equivalent of a frown."

 "There is also the Birman flop! This is similar to the frosby flop but at ground level. They tend to walk up to your feet and just suddenly keel over sideways exposing their bellies. It basically means 'love me love me I'm gorgeous' and who can resist!?!"
